I have never enjoyed IT like the present, since the BBS (Bulletin Board Systems) and FIDONet times. I used to own and run a RemoteAccess BBS with amazing 5 phone lines. Those were great times, the beginning of the internet era and the start of networked computing.

I thought I should update you with what is going on in my professional life right now and how this will affect, or not, my ability to produce new content for the blog.

Last Friday was a special day as I finished a long lasting, 6 years, work relationship with TeleTech. Next week I am starting with Technical Arquitecture Solutions (TAS) as their Senior Virtualization Consultant for New South Wales (Australia). TAS is a technical leading edge company focused in infrastructure and specialized in virtualization for medium and large organizations. Their fields of expertise are:

The article published by Virtualization.com with the title “Burton Group’s Five Trends That Will Transform IT in 2010” was based on a research from Burton Group. I would like to get my hands on this research because out of five topics (better put as trends or tendencies) three of them are directly related to everything we talk about in this blog.
