I have to warn you that this post is a little bit different than my usual VDI, VMware, Cloud and DaaS topics. However, in one way it is still End User Computing .

I also decided to join the bandwagon and bought the new Google Nexus 7 tablet with Android Jelly Bean. The buy decision came down to it’s low price of $199,00 for the 8GB version and considering that my daughter took over my old iPad1. This is my first Android device.

This Tuesday, October 5th, Sydney will have it’s first official vBeers event. All IT virtualisation enthusiasts are welcome to socialise over a cold beer or soft-drink. This is a great opportunity to meet with other virtualisation enthusiasts, do some networking, and enjoy discussing all things virtualisation. Other subjects are also welcome.
