Hold the Date: Sydney vMUG confirmed for Feb, 18th.

· 1 min read

Sydney (AU) hosts the largest virtualization forum in APAC region; actually it should be called VMworld Asia Pacific for its size.

I also have mentioned before…

Australia is the most virtualized country in the world, per capita, according to Paul Maritz, VMware CEO, during his keynote for the vForum’08 and reinforced by Dr. Steve Herrod, VMware CTO, during vForum’09.

Sadly, despite of all those numbers it’s been a while since the last vMUG (VMware User Group) happened in the largest Australian city, Sydney.

Wait! Hold on! It looks like the Sydney vMUG will be running once again!

Thanks for your interest in getting the Sydney area user group up and running again!

Please hold the 18th of February in your calendars for the first 2010 Sydney vMUG.

If you haven't joined the Sydney vMUG before, click the 'join a group' tab on discussions page. If you join the NSW group, you will be added to the distribution list for the invitation to this event.

Just registered. Didn't realise there was one so close to home.

@Roman Are you not in Sydney? I'll be hosting one of the sessions, possibly with Jeff O'Connor from VMware. What would you like to see on VMug? This is a user driven event.
