Sydney Virtualization FORUM 2009 (VCP Content)

Today VMware ANZ released an invitation email for the VCP Workshops at the Sydney Virtualization Forum. For my disappointment only two VCP technical workshops are being provided during the two day conference. Actually there are five or six sessions with exact same content.

The ANZ region is one of the top leaders in virtualization adoption and I expected VMware to give a little more emphasis and care to professionals studying, using and recommending their products.

The two sessions are:

  1. Advanced Networking with vSphere DVS and Nexus 1000v Virtual Switches
  2. High availability and Power Management in your Data centre

To get worse the VCP workshop times conflicted with the public sessions I was planning to attend, as I mentioned in my Sydney Virtualization FORUM 2009 post.
