New Career Opportunity : Joining the fastest growing enterprise infrastructure company of the past decade

Dear Readers,

I’m happy to announce the next step in my professional career as I start a new and exciting chapter. Starting next week I will be joining the start-up Nutanix as their Technical Alliances Director.

I’ve enjoyed over 4 years with the EMC/VMware family in different roles. My most recent as a View Architect in the VMware End-User Computing CTO Office. In all roles I had the opportunity to work with great leaders and amazing innovative and talented engineers.

Being in the CTO Office, I was fortunate to be able to directly interact with customers, present in multiple conferences and assist with the VMware’s EUC vision and strategy. The best part of my role was the chance to develop and prototype cool new things.

VMware, thank you for the amazing ride and opportunity to contribute!

My new organization Nutanix, is the fastest growing enterprise infrastructure company of the past decade. They are currently eclipsing the market adoption velocity of all storage, networking and infrastructure startups since the early 2000s, and are building a team that should be the envy to any ‘grown-up’ IT company out there.

Nutanix is a turnkey solution that empowers enterprises of any size to employ the same datacenter transformations that allowed companies like Google, Facebook and Ebay to achieve massive scales utilizing an efficient solution that can easily adapt to today’s dynamic business environment.

I will remain a relentless blogger and look forward to continuing to share my thoughts, ideas, findings and experiences on my career journey with you. Look out for my soon to be released articles on the role of hyper-converged infrastructures in the datacenter, and in specific VDI and End-User Computing.

Nowadays Nutanix is becoming agressive in Tokyo to sell us their storage. So I hope you will also have a chance to visit your office in Tokyo. I have always liked your blog.

Also, keep tuned for articles relating Nutanix and VDI solutions. I honestly believe Nutanix is the nest platform for VDI and I will soon demonstrate why.

Andre, congrats on the move but would you mind updating your “About” page? I only found your blog the other day from a brownbag session and I quickly wondered why a VMware employee working for the CTO was blogging solely on Nutanix. Thanks and best of luck!
