To the readers of myvirtualcloud.net,
You may have noticed a slowdown in the number of articles posted on myvirtualcloud.net in the last week or two and wondered what was up. No, I didn’t slip off to a resort in the Bahamas…. but I am delighted to announce my move to a new role at VMware working in the Office of the CTO – End User Computing.
My new role is creative, yet technical and I have been given the opportunity to convert my ideas to prototypes and products. In short, I have the great honor and opportunity to help shape the future of End User Computing at VMware, the leader in desktop computing through virtualization. For me, this is a dream role and one which will be able to draw from my culmination of experiences across the U.S, Asia, Latin America and Australia. I will of course, continue my blogging and look forward to continuing to share my thoughts, ideas, findings and experiences with you.
I’ll leave you with a mindful quote from one of the great writers….
Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.
-George Bernard Shaw
