Last week I had a chance to present a VMware View & End User Computing BrownBag webcast. Thanks @cody_bunch and @sixfootdad for the invitation.
BrownBags are a series of online webinars held using GotoMeeting and covering various VMware & VMware Certification topics. These BrownBags are held live at various dates and times around the globe and each covers a different bit of VMware related specialization.
The session was a VERY compressed version of my One Day VDI Workshop that I normally run for EMC customers/partners. (If you are EMC customer/partner ask your REP to organize this session in your region).
I had an awesome time in this session that lasted more than 2 hours, and I was able to cover what I consider to be the essential VMware View knowledge for any administrator and/or architect. I recommend you watching the recording.
The topics covered are:
- End User Computing Futures
- Desktop Challenges
- What’s New VMware View 5.0
- VMware View Architecture
- VMware View Storage
- VMware View Networking
- VMware View Virtual Infrastructure
